Boat Trip to Fulham - open invitation!

19/06/08

What with the fixture list coming out on Monday, some of the REDaction guys have been busy looking into a couple of possible days out!!

Fulham away is our second game of the season - on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th August. Two seasons ago, a company arranged a boat trip, which was advertised in The Gooner. It turned out to be a very good drunken trip!!

REDaction have already spoken to these people about running a trip for the Fulham game this August. We do not yet have full details but it would be leaving somewhere in London between Westminster Bridge and London Bridge. The cost would be about £20 to £25 each (final price will depend on numbers), which would include a free beer, some food and some on-board entertainment.

The Journey would take 2 or 3 hours max cruising along the river Thames. Then arriving at Putney Bridge pier in plenty of time for the game. Right now, we are only looking for an indication on numbers, so if you would be interested in the boat trip to Fulham, then please send an email to Mark at: redaction.gooners@gmail.com (please let him know the number of boat tickets you might be interested in).

With Fulham's generous away allocation and the game being in August, getting hold of match tickets should not be a big problem either. Also with the Larrik changing their attitude towards Gooners (showing rugby on TV over football and banning singing), a jolly up on the Thames is a nice little alternative!

Enjoy the rest of Euro 2008,

Victoria Concordia Crescit,

The REDaction team.
