Over the summer, the REDaction lads had a meeting to discuss plans for 2008/09 season. Two of the ideas were Red & White pages and Chant Of The Month. So what's all this about then? Weeeelllll...
Red & White Pages
With such a diverse yet tight-knit community of Arsenal fans out there, we're surely missing a trick when it comes to helping each other out professionally. It's hard enough to get a decent plumber/electrician/accountant to fiddle with your pipes/wires/figures at the right price.
So we want to hear from you lot out there! Are you a professional who can offer your services to you fellow Gooners? Do you ply a trade and wouldn't mind a bit of extra business your way?
With your help, we want to create a comprehensive directory for Gooner tradespeople to offer their services to the Arsenal community. Sort of like the Freemasons but with less sodomy and more slagging off Alex Song.
The first stage of this project will be for YOU to send in your name, trade and preferred means of contact or if you know of anyone appropriate, sending their info in on their behalf.

Chant Of The Month
It's not wholly unreasonable to suggest that we as Arsenal fans aren't the most creative bunch in the land when it comes to football songs. There's certainly room for improvement!
Every so often, we receive song suggestions by email. Some make it to the terraces, some don't. What we want to do this season is give the good songs the best chance possible! We're asking for you lot to have a real good think about some fresh, exciting songs for our players, manager and club! We'll choose the best one each month and push it in as many places as possible. Namely The Rocket, The Gooner, Arsenal World, The REDsection and on our mail shots.
We'll have one a month between August 2008 and May 2009. Have a think about it! Is it about time Theo got a good song? What the f*ck rhymes with Nasri? Would Aaron Ramsay feel more welcome with an adapted version of Men Of Harlech? Get thinking and email in to redaction.gooners@gmail.com
